In 2024, Dar Al Fikr received the prestigious 2024 School of Distinction Award from Cognia, ranking among the top 6 schools in the Middle East and Gulf region and the top 60 globally.
In 2007–08, the Ministry of Education authorised Dar Al Fikr to deliver the International Diploma in Science, Mathematics, and English, along with a credit-hour system across all subjects. The school was also required to continue teaching the Arabic-language curriculum, along with Islamic and social education, in accordance with the Ministry’s standards.

We successfully renewed our accreditation for 2024–2030 with an exceptional score of 385 out of 400, reflecting our dedication to continuous improvement. Furthermore, Dar Al Fikr has earned its first-ever STEM accreditation, cementing our leadership in innovative education. Recognizing our outstanding outcomes, Cognia awarded us the prestigious 2024 School of Distinction Award. King Abdul Aziz Foundation (Mawhiba), through the North Anglia Foundation, examined and evaluated the scientific, pedagogical, and human structure of the school, which was then accredited for the care and education of gifted students. This evaluation has been repeated yearly.
The College Board has designated Dar Al Fikr as an authorised testing centre for the TOEFL, PSAT, SAT, and GRE.
The College Board has approved Dar Al Fikr to offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses in the sciences and mathematics. These are college-level courses for which students can earn university credit, recognised by universities in the United States and elsewhere.
